Isma'il ibn Musa narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, from 'Asim ibn 'Ubayd Allah, from 'Abd Allah ibn 'Amir ibn Rabi'ah, from 'A'ishah, who said: I missed him during the night—meaning the Prophet—and behold, he was at al-Baqi'. He said: "Peace be upon you, O abode of a believing people. You are our predecessors, and we will, God willing, join you. O Allah, do not deprive us of their reward, and do not try us after them."
