'Uqbah narrated to us, Yunus narrated to us, Muhammad bin Ishaq narrated to us, from Salih bin Kaysan, from 'Urwah, from 'Aishah, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: "I do not accept a gift from a Bedouin." Then Umm Sunbulah al-Aslamiyyah came to him with a skin of milk, which she gifted to him. He said: "Pour some of it into this wooden bowl." She poured it, and he took it and drank. I said: "Did you not say, 'I do not accept a gift from a Bedouin'?" He replied: "Indeed, the Bedouins of Aslam are not [like other] Bedouins; rather, they are the people of our desert, and we are the people of their settled land. If they call upon us, we answer them, and if we call upon them, they answer us."
