Continuation of the Musnad of Aisha (RA)

Hadith 150:270

'Uqbah narrated to us, Yunus narrated to us, al-Sari ibn Isma'il narrated to us, from al-Sha'bi, from Masruq, from 'Aishah, that she said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would order his bedding, so it would be spread for him, and he would face the Qiblah. When he went to it, he would place his right palm under his head, then he would whisper something we did not know what he was saying. When he reached the end of that, he would raise his voice and say: "O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Great Throne, the God or Lord of everything, Revealer of the Torah, the Gospel, and the Furqan (the Quran), Splitter of the seed and the date stone. I seek refuge in You from the evil of everything You are taking by its forelock. O Allah, You are the First, there is nothing before You; and the Last, there is nothing after You; and You are the Manifest (al-Zahir), there is nothing above You; and You are the Hidden (al-Batin), there is nothing beyond You. Settle the debt for us and enrich us from poverty."
