Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 150:272

Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Asma’ narrated to us, Juwayriyah narrated to us, from Nafi’, that Sa’ibah informed him that Aisha, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade the killing of snakes, except for the *abtar* (short-tailed) and the *dhu al-tufyatayn* (the one with two white lines on its back). For they snatch away the eyesight and cause what is in the wombs of women to miscarry. So whoever leaves them, he is not of us."
