Hadith 150:276
Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Abi Ubaydah narrated to us, my father narrated to us, from al-A’mash, from Tamim, from Urwah ibn al-Zubayr, who said: Aisha said: "Blessed is He whose hearing encompasses all things. I truly hear the speech of Khawlah bint Tha’labah, and some of it is hidden from me, while she was complaining about her husband to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace). She was saying: 'O Messenger of Allah, he consumed my youth and I scattered my womb for him, until when my age advanced and my child-bearing ceased, he declared *zihar* upon me. O Allah, I complain to You.' She said: She had not yet departed when Gabriel descended with these verses: 'Allah has heard the speech of the one who argues with you concerning her husband and complains to Allah.'"
