'Amr al-Naqid narrated to us, Mu'ammar ibn Sulayman al-Raqqi narrated to us, Khasif narrated to us, from Mujahid, from 'Aishah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the wearing of silk and gold, drinking from silver vessels, and the red saddle-cloth (maytharah). 'Aishah said: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, a light thing of gold used to tie musk?" He said: "Make it silver and color it yellow with some saffron."
