'Abd al-Jabbar ibn 'Asim narrated to us, Baqiyyah ibn al-Walid al-Homsi, Abu Yahmad, narrated to me, from Sa'id ibn Abi Sa'id al-Zubaydi, from Hisham ibn 'Urwah, from his father, from 'Aishah, she said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) would sometimes apply kohl while he was fasting.
