Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 150:305

Musa narrated to us, Abd al-Wahhab narrated to us, he said: I heard Yahya ibn Sa'id al-Ansari saying: Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Qasim informed me that Muhammad ibn Ja'far ibn al-Zubayr informed him that 'Abbad ibn 'Abd Allah ibn al-Zubayr narrated to him that he heard 'Aishah saying: A man came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I am burnt (ruined)." He asked him: "What is the matter with you?" He said: "I broke my fast during Ramadan." Then he sat down, and a large basket, called an *araq*, containing dates was brought to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. He said: "Where is the burnt one?" He stood up, and he said: "Give this as charity."
