Muhammad ibn 'Abbad narrated to us, Hatim narrated to us, from Ibn Harmalah, from 'Abdullah ibn Nayyar, from 'Urwah, from 'Aishah: That a man asked for permission to enter upon the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. When the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, heard his voice, he said: "An evil man, an evil son of the clan." When he entered, the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was cheerful towards him. When he left, 'Aishah spoke to him and said: "O Messenger of Allah, you said: 'An evil man, an evil son of the clan,' but when he entered, you were cheerful towards him." He said: "O 'Aishah, indeed, among the worst of people is the one whom people avoid out of fear of his obscenity."
