Hadith 150:328

'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, Wahib ibn Khalid narrated to us, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Harmalah, from 'Abdullah ibn Nayyar, from 'Urwah, from 'A'ishah: That a man asked for permission to enter upon the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. He said, "Who is this?" They said, "So-and-so." He said, "An evil man, and an evil son of the clan," or as he said. "Give him permission." When he entered, he (the Prophet) was cheerful towards him. 'A'ishah said, "I said, 'An evil man, and an evil son of the clan,' then you were cheerful towards him?" He said, "O 'A'ishah, indeed the worst of people in the sight of Allah on the Day of Resurrection is the one whom the people leave alone to avoid his evil."
