Kamil ibn Talhah al-Jahdari narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, al-Harith ibn Yazid narrated to us, from Ziyad ibn Nu'aym al-Hadrami, from Muslim ibn Mikhraq, who said: I said to Aisha, the Mother of the Believers, "Indeed, there are people, one of whom recites the Quran in a night twice or thrice." She said, "Those have recited, yet they have not recited. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would stand for the entire night, reciting Surah al-Baqarah, Ali 'Imran, and an-Nisa'. He would not pass by a verse containing glad tidings except that he would supplicate."
