Hadith 150:344
Sa'id ibn Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, my father narrated to us, he said: This is what we read to Hisham ibn 'Urwah, from his father, from 'Aishah, she said: "Abasa wa tawalla" (He frowned and turned away) was revealed regarding Ibn Umm Maktum, the blind man. He came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and began saying, "O Messenger of Allah, guide me." And with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, were some of the great men of the polytheists. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, began to turn away from him and attend to the others, saying, "Do you see any harm in what I say?" They would say, "No." So regarding this, "Abasa wa tawalla" (He frowned and turned away) was revealed.
