Al-Hasan ibn Hammad al-Kufi narrated to us, Ibn Abi Ghaniyah narrated to us, from his father, from al-Shaybani, from Jumay’ ibn Umayr, who said: I entered with my mother upon Aisha, and she asked her about Ali. She said: "I have not seen a man who was more beloved to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, than him, nor a woman who was more beloved to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, than his wife."
