Muhammad ibn al-Minhal narrated to us, Yazid narrated to us, 'Umarah ibn Abi Hafsah narrated to us, from 'Ikrimah, from 'Aishah, who said: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, tell me about Ibn Jud'an." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "And what about him?" I said, "He used to slaughter the hump-backed camels, honor the neighbor, host the guest, speak the truth, fulfill the covenant, maintain ties of kinship, free the captive, feed the food, and fulfill the trust." He said, "Did he ever say one day: 'O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the Fire of Hell'?" She said, "No, and he did not know what Hell was." He said, "Then it is of no avail."
