Al-Harith ibn Surayj narrated to us, Yazid ibn Zuray' narrated to us, Fudayl Abu Mu'adh narrated to us, from Abu Hurayz, from al-Sha'bi, from 'Aishah, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), when he wanted to marry a woman from his wives, would say: "Indeed, so-and-so, son of so-and-so, is proposing to so-and-so, daughter of so-and-so."
