Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 150:382

Narrated to us Mujahid, narrated to us al-Qasim ibn Malik, from Umar ibn Suwayd ibn Ghaylan al-Thaqafi, from Aisha bint Talhah, from Aisha, the Mother of the Believers, who said: We used to go out with the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) while we had anointed ourselves with saffron and wars (a yellow dye), and we had entered into ihram. We would sweat, and it would flow onto our faces, and the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) would see that and would not criticize us for it.
