Abu Ma‘mar narrated to us, Abu Bakr ibn Nafi‘, the freed slave of the family of Zayd ibn al-Khattab, narrated to us, he said: Abu Bakr ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Amr ibn Hazm narrated to me, he said: ‘Amrah said: ‘Aishah said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Overlook the lapses of people of status." He said: Then I was present with Abu Bakr ibn ‘Amr ibn Hazm, and he judged according to that.
