And from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Qasim, from his father, who said: ‘A’ishah said: When the verse of stoning and [the verse of] suckling an adult ten times were revealed, they were on a sheet under my bed. When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) died, we were preoccupied with his death, and a domestic animal entered and ate it.
