Hadaba ibn Khalid narrated to us, Aban narrated to us, Yahya ibn Abi Kathir narrated to us, that Zayd narrated to him, that Abu Salam narrated to him, that Abdullah ibn Farrukh narrated to him, that Aisha narrated to him, she said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saying: "The son of Adam was created upon three hundred and sixty joints. So if he praises Allah, and declares the oneness of Allah (tahlil), and seeks forgiveness from Allah, and praises Allah, and removes a thorn from the path of the Muslims, and a stone from the path of the Muslims, and enjoins the good and forbids the evil, to the number of those three hundred and sixty joints, then he has been moved away from the Fire, and he has protected—or he has warned—himself on that day from the Fire."
