Muhammad ibn al-Sabbah narrated to us, Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, from Yunus ibn Yazid, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Salamah, from Aisha, who said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wanted to sleep while he was in a state of major ritual impurity (junub), he would not sleep until he performed ablution (wudu). And when he wanted to eat, he would wash his hands, then he would eat.
