Hadith 111:105
Zuhayr narrated to us, Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, Husayn al-Mu'allim informed us, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from Tawus, from whoever heard Ibn 'Umar and Ibn 'Abbas narrating from the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), who said: "It is not lawful for a Muslim man to give a gift and then take it back, except for a father regarding what he gives to his child. And the likeness of the one who takes back his gift is like the likeness of a dog that ate until, when it was full, it vomited, then it returned to its vomit."
