Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 111:73

Abu Kurayb narrated to us, Ubaydullah al-Ashja‘i narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Hakim ibn al-Daylami, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn Abbas regarding [the verse]: "And you are *samidun* (the star)." He said: They used to pass by the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, while they were arrogant (shamikheen). Do you not see the calf, how it struts while arrogant?
