Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Shaqiq narrated to us, he said: I heard my father saying: Abu Hamzah informed us, from Layth, from Abu Fazara, from Yazid ibn al-Asamm, from Ibn Abbas, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I have not been commanded to construct high/ornate mosques."
