Al-Hasan ibn ‘Umar ibn Shaqiq narrated to us, Yazid narrated to us, from Husayn, from ‘Ata’ ibn Abi Rabah, from Jabir: That a man emancipated a slave of his [to take effect] after his death. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Who will buy him from me?" He said: So Nu‘aym ibn ‘Abd Allah bought him. He then took his price and handed it over to him.
