Sufyan narrated to us, my father narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Layla, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Do not revile the night and the day, nor the sun, nor the moon, nor the winds; for they are sent as a mercy for some people and as a punishment for others."
