Sufyan narrated to us, Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, who said: Abu al-Zubayr informed me that he heard Jabir ibn Abdullah being asked about riding the sacrificial animals (budn). He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say: "Ride them in a reasonable manner when you are compelled to do so, until you find a mount."
