Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 109:201

Wasil ibn Abd al-A’la narrated to us, Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from al-Walid ibn Jami’, from Abu Salamah, from Jabir, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood one day upon the pulpit and said: "Indeed, while some people were traveling at sea, their food ran out. An island appeared to them, so they went out seeking bread. The Jassasah met them." I said to Abu Salamah, "And what is the Jassasah?" He said, "A woman dragging the hair of her head. She said to them, 'In this palace is news of what you want.' So they came to it, and behold, there was a man bound in chains. He said, 'Inform me or ask me, and I will inform you.' The people remained silent. He said, 'Inform me about the palm trees of Baysan and Ariha (Jericho); do they bear fruit?' They said, 'Yes.' He said, 'Then inform me about the spring of Zughar; is there water in it?' They said, 'Yes.'" He said, "He is the Messiah; the earth is folded for him, and he traverses it in forty days, except for Tayyibah." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Beware, for Tayyibah is al-Madinah. There is no gate among its gates but that there is an angel with a drawn sword preventing him from it. And in Makkah, there is the like of that." Then he said, "It is in the Sea of Persia, it is in the Sea of Rome." Abu Salamah said to me, "There is something in this hadith that I did not memorize." He said, "Jabir ibn Abdullah testified that he is Ibn Sayyad." I said, "But he has died." He said, "Even if he died." I said, "But he accepted Islam." He said, "Even if he accepted Islam." I said, "But he entered al-Madinah." He said, "Even if he entered al-Madinah."
