Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Yazid bin Harun narrated to us, al-Muthanna bin Sa'id al-Qassam narrated to us, from Abu Sufyan, from Jabir, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) took my hand one day until he came to some of the chambers of his wives. He entered, then gave me permission, so I entered. He said, "Is there any lunch or is there any dinner?" They said, "Yes." So three loaves of bread were brought. He said, "Is there any condiment?" They said, "No, except for some vinegar." He said, "Bring it, for vinegar is an excellent condiment." Jabir said: I have not ceased to love it since I heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) say what he said about it. Abu Sufyan said: And I have not ceased to love it since I heard Jabir say what he said.
