Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Rawh narrated to us, Ayman ibn Nabil narrated to us, he said: I heard Abu al-Zubayr narrating from Jabir, he said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) used to teach us the Tashahhud just as he used to teach us a Surah from the Qur’an: "In the name of Allah. The greetings, the prayers, and the pure words are for Allah. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah. I ask Allah for Paradise and I seek refuge in Allah from the Fire."
