Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 109:259

Kamil ibn Talhah narrated to us, Layth ibn Sa’d narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr narrated to us, that Jabir ibn ‘Abd Allah said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Cover the vessel, tie the waterskin, and extinguish the lamp, for indeed Shaytan does not untie a waterskin, nor does he open a door, nor does he uncover a vessel. And if one of you finds nothing except to place a stick across his vessel and mention the name of Allah, let him do so, for the little corruptor (the mouse) sets the house on fire upon the people of the house."
