Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 109:261

Kamil narrated to us, Layth ibn Sa'd narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr narrated to us, from Jabir, from the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace): That he forbade the *ishtimal al-samma'* (wrapping oneself in a garment such that no opening is left for the arms), and the *ihtiba'* (sitting with the knees drawn up to the chest) while in a single garment. And [he forbade] that a man should raise one of his legs over the other while he is lying on his back.
