Ishaq narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, Muhammad al-Sulami narrated to us—Sufyan said: I think he is the son of Ali, the cousin of al-Mansur—from Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Aqil, who heard Jabir say: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said to me: "O Jabir, do you know that Allah brought your father back to life? He said to him: 'Wish for something from Allah.' He said: 'I wish to return to the world so that I may be killed again.' He said: 'I have decreed that they shall not return.'"
