Hadith 109:73
Ja'far ibn Humayd narrated to us, Ya'qub ibn 'Abd Allah narrated to us, from 'Isa ibn Jariyah, from Jabir, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) ordered the killing of the dogs of Medina. Then the son of Umm Maktum came to him and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I am blind, my house is far away, and I have a dog." So he granted him a concession for a few days, then he ordered the killing of his dog, and it was killed.
حدثنا جعفر بن حميد حدثنا يعقوب بن عبد الله عن عيسى بن جارية عن جابر قال * أمر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بقتل كلاب المدينة فجاءه بن أم مكتوم فقال يا رسول الله أنا مكفوف البصر ومنزلى شاسع ولي كلب فرخص له أياما ثم أمر بقتل كلبه فقتل
