Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 109:80

Ibn Abi Samina narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn Habib ibn al-Shahid narrated to us, he said: My father said, from ‘Amr ibn Dinar, from Jabir ibn ‘Abd Allah, he said: My father ordered *khazira* (a dish of meat and flour), so it was made. Then he ordered me, and I brought it to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. He said: So I came to him while he was in his house. He said: He said to me, "What is with you, O Jabir? Is it meat?" He said: I said, "No." He said: So I came to my father, and he said to me, "Did you see the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Did you not hear him say anything?" I said, "Yes, he said to me: 'What is with you, O Jabir? Is it meat?'" He said: Perhaps the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, desired it. So he ordered a tame sheep of ours, and it was slaughtered. Then he ordered it, and it was roasted. Then he ordered me, and I brought it to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. He said to me, "What is with you, O Jabir?" So I informed him. He said, "May Allah reward the Ansar with good on our behalf, especially ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Amr ibn Haram and Sa’d ibn ‘Ubada."
