Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 109:83

Bishr ibn al-Walid al-Kindi narrated to us, Fulayh ibn Sulayman narrated to us, Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir narrated to us, from Jabir, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) called upon the people on the day of the Trench: "Who will bring me news of the Banu Qurayza?" Al-Zubayr volunteered. Then he called upon them again, and al-Zubayr volunteered, [doing so] three times. The Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) then said: "Indeed, every prophet has a disciple (hawari), and my disciple is al-Zubayr."
