Ibrahim ibn al-Hajjaj al-Sami narrated to us, al-Furat ibn Abi al-Furat al-Qurashi narrated to us, he said: I heard Ata ibn Abi Rabah narrating from Jabir ibn Abdullah, he said: We were with the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), and I slept, then I woke up, then I slept, then I woke up. A man from the Muslims stood up and said: "The prayer, the prayer." The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) came out to us while his head was dripping [with water], and he led us in prayer. Then he said: "Were it not that it would be difficult for my nation, I would have liked for them to pray this prayer at this hour." Al-Furat said: I think it was the Isha [prayer].
