Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 109:96

Abu Basit narrated to us, Abu al-Yaman narrated to us, Safwan narrated to us, from Ma'iz al-Tamimi, from Jabir, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, Satan has despaired that the worshippers will worship him, but [he is active] in inciting discord among them."
