Muhammad ibn Bakkar narrated to us, Abu Ma'shar narrated to us, he said: I asked Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir about ablution from what fire has touched. He said: Jabir ibn Abdullah narrated to me, he said: I ate with the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), and he prayed and did not perform ablution after his first ablution. Then I ate with Abu Bakr, and he prayed and did not perform ablution. Then I ate with Umar, and he prayed and did not perform ablution. Then I ate with Uthman, and he prayed and did not perform ablution.
