Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 163:7

Abu Khaythama narrated to us, al-Fadl ibn Dukayn narrated to us, Zakariya ibn Abi Za’idah narrated to us, from Firas, from al-Sha’bi, from Masruq, from ‘Aisha, who said: Fatima came walking, as if her walking were the walking of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace). He said: "Welcome, my daughter," and he seated her to his right or to his left. Then he whispered a statement to her, so she wept. Then he whispered a statement to her, so she laughed. I said: "I have never seen, like today, sadness closer to joy. What did the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) whisper to you?" She said: "I would not disclose the secret of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace)." When he passed away, I asked her, and she said: "He said: 'Gabriel used to come to me and review the Quran with me once, and he has come to me this year and reviewed it with me twice. I do not see my term except that it has approached. You are the best predecessor for me, and you are the first of my household to join me.' So I wept because of that." He then said: "Are you not pleased that you will be the leader of the women of the believers, or the women of this nation?" She said: "So I laughed."
