Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 163:8

'Abd al-A'la ibn Hammad narrated to us, al-Mufaddal ibn Fadala narrated to us, he said: Rabi'a al-Mu'afiri narrated to me, from Abu 'Abd al-Rahman al-Hubuli, from 'Abd Allah ibn 'Amr, who said: We buried [someone] with the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) one day. When he finished, he departed and stood in the middle of the road. Suddenly, we saw a woman approaching, and we did not think he recognized her. When she drew near, it was Fatima. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said to her: "O Fatima, what brought you out of your house?" She said: "I came, O Messenger of Allah, to the family of this house to show mercy to them regarding their deceased, or to console them"—I do not remember which of the two she said. Rabi'a said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Perhaps you reached the *Kuda* with them?" She said: "I seek refuge in Allah, for I have heard you mention regarding it what you mention." He said: "If you had reached the *Kuda*, you would not see Paradise until your grandfather, the father of your mother, or the father of your father, sees it"—Abu Yahya was in doubt. I asked Rabi'a about the *Kuda*, and he said: "I think it is the graveyards." He said: When I saw that Rabi'a was in doubt, I met Yazid ibn Abi Habib and informed him of the hadith of Rabi'a and asked him about the *Kuda*, and he said: "It is the graveyards."
