Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 247:13
Hadith of Abu Barzah al-Aslami from the Prophet (SAW)
حديث أبي برزة الأسلمي عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 247:13
Abu Bakr narrated to us, Yunus bin Muhammad narrated to us, Mahdi bin Maymun narrated to us, Abu al-Wazi' narrated to us, he said: I heard Abu Barzah narrating, he said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) sent me to some of the tribes of the Arabs regarding a matter—I do not know what it was—so they insulted him, reviled him, and struck him. He returned to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), and he said: "Had you come to the people of Oman, they would not have insulted you nor struck you."
