Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 247:17

Hadith of Abu Barzah al-Aslami from the Prophet (SAW)

Hadith 247:17

'Uthman ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, Jarir and Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Yazid ibn Abi Ziyad, from Sulayman ibn 'Amr ibn al-Ahwas, who said: Abu Hilal narrated to me, from Abu Barzah, who said: We were with the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, on a journey, and he heard two men singing. One of them was saying to his companion: "The discourse will continue as long as his bones remain; the war has gathered him so that he may be shrouded and buried." The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Who are these?" It was said to him: "So-and-so and so-and-so." He said: "O Allah, plunge them into tribulation, a deep plunging, and cast them into the Fire, a casting."
