Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 247:6

Abu Bakr narrated to us, Isma'il ibn 'Ulayyah narrated to us, from 'Awf, who said: Abu al-Minhal narrated to me, saying: My father went out and I went out with him, and we entered upon Abu Barzah al-Aslami. My father said to him: "Narrate to us how the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to pray the obligatory prayers." He said: "He used to pray the *Hajir*—which you call the *al-Ula* (Dhuhr)—when the sun passed the meridian. And he used to pray the *'Asr* when one of us would return to his dwelling at the furthest part of the city while the sun was still bright." He said: "And I forgot what he said regarding the *Maghrib*." He said: "And he used to like to delay the *'Isha'*, which you call the *'Atamah*. And he used to dislike sleeping before it and speaking after it. And he used to depart from the morning prayer when a man could recognize the person sitting next to him, and he used to recite between sixty to one hundred verses."
