Abdullah bin Amir bin Zurarah al-Hadrami al-Kufi—who is trustworthy—narrated to us, saying: Yahya bin Zakariya bin Abi Za'idah narrated to us, from Yunus bin Abi Ishaq, from Abu Burdah bin Abi Musa, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The orphan girl must be consulted regarding herself. If she remains silent, then she has given permission; and if she refuses, she shall not be coerced."
