Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 243:34

Abu Hisham al-Rifa'i Muhammad ibn Yazid narrated to us, Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Yunus ibn 'Amr, from Abu Burdah, from Abu Musa, who said: A Bedouin came to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and he honored him. He said to him, "Come to us." So he came to him, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said, "Ask for your need." He said, "A she-camel to ride and ewes for my family to milk." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said, "Are you unable to be like the old woman of the Children of Israel?" He said: When Moses traveled with the Children of Israel from Egypt, they lost the way. He said, "What is this?" Their scholars said, "When Joseph was near death, he took a covenant from us by Allah that we would not leave Egypt until we took his bones with us." He said, "Who knows the location of his grave?" They said, "An old woman from the Children of Israel." So he sent for her, and she came to him. He said, "Guide me to the grave of Joseph." She said, "Not until you give me my judgment." He said, "What is your judgment?" She said, "That I be with you in Paradise." He disliked giving her that, but Allah revealed to him, "Give her her judgment." So she led them to a lake, a place of stagnant water, and said, "Drain this water." They drained it. She said, "Dig and extract the bones of Joseph." When they lifted them to the ground, the road became like the light of day.
