Hadith of Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (RA)
Hadith 243:42
Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, Waki' narrated to us, from al-Mas'udi, from 'Amr ibn Murrah, from Abu 'Ubaydah, from Abu Musa, who said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah does not sleep, and it is not befitting for Him to sleep. He lowers the scale and raises it. His veil is light; if He were to remove it, the splendors of His Face would burn everything of His creation that His sight reaches." Then Abu 'Ubaydah recited: "It was called out that blessed is whoever is in the fire and whoever is around it, and exalted is Allah, Lord of the worlds."
