Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 248:8
Hadith of Jabir ibn Samurah al-Suwa'i from the Prophet (SAW)
حديث جابر بن سمرة السوائي عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 248:8
Zakariya ibn Yahya al-Wasiti narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, from Simak, from Jabir ibn Samurah, who said: A she-camel belonging to some people of Banu Sulaym, or others from the tribe, died. They were a needy household, so they asked the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, about eating it. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, granted them a concession to eat it, and it sufficed them for their winter.
