Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 216:11

Abu Musa Ishaq ibn Ibrahim al-Harawi narrated to us, Isa ibn Yunus narrated to us, Thawr ibn Yazid narrated to us, from Ziyad ibn Abi Sawdah, from his brother, from Maymunah, who said: "O Messenger of Allah, give us a legal ruling regarding Bayt al-Maqdis (Jerusalem)." He said: "It is the land of the gathering and the land of the resurrection. Go to it and pray in it, for a prayer in it is like a thousand prayers." We said: "O Messenger of Allah, what if one is unable to travel to it?" He said: "Whoever is unable to go to it, let him send oil to be used for its lamps, for whoever sends oil to it, it is as if he has gone to it."
