Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 216:6

Hadith of Maymunah (RA), wife of the Prophet (SAW)

Hadith 216:6

Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Jarir narrated to us, from Mansur, from Ziyad ibn Amr ibn Hind, from Imran ibn Hudhayfah, who said: Maymunah used to incur debts and would do so frequently. Her family spoke to her about that and were displeased with her. She said: "I will not cease doing so, for I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: 'There is no one who incurs a debt, and Allah the Almighty and Majestic knows that he intends to pay it back, but Allah will pay it on his behalf in this world.'"
