Dawud ibn Rashid narrated to us, al-Walid narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, who said: Umar ibn Ata informed me that Nafi ibn Jubayr sent him to al-Sa’ib ibn Yazid to ask him. Al-Sa’ib said to him: "I prayed the Friday prayer with Mu’awiyah in the Maqsura (enclosure). When he gave the taslim, I stood up to pray. He said to me: 'When you have prayed the Friday prayer, do not connect it with another prayer until you speak or leave, for the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) commanded that.'"
